“Confessions” is the first single of 2024 by Che Burns. Featuring full live recordings done at Airlock Studio in Brisbane and co-production/mixing by Gold Coast artist Mattymadeit. As the title suggests, Confessions is a raw and honest insight into the story behind Che Burns. Crunchy, Rock-inspired instrumentation over a driven and punchy bottom end lay the perfect foundation for some of the most vulnerable and honest lyricism the young artist is yet to produce.

"I wrote this song for my friend after she told me about her childhood trauma. It was an acknowledgment of her struggles, in which I'm saying; do whatever you need to heal, and don't let anyone else invalidate the things you've been through.

I wrote the song acoustically, and wanted to keep it that way, so I recorded and mixed it myself. I hope you can make this song your own in some way."
